How is sadness and depression related?
Everyone becomes sad once or often in their lifetime. A lot of teenager gets sad at least once in a month, and younger kids are not excluded from this as well. When a person is sad, he thinks that it will last forever. But in reality it does not. It only lasts for a few hours or a day or two. When the sadness occupies the mind a person for a long period of time, then it is called depression.
What Is Sadness?
Sadness is a feeling or emotion that everybody encounter. People feel sad when are disappointed about something, lost someone or something very special, or something bad has happened to them. When people are lonely, they become even sadder.
Sad moon can bring the feeling that they have no true friend and the whole world seems dark. They do not enjoy the things they usually do on their daily life activities. This feeling can totally crush the good mood inside.
People often burst into crying when they are sad, and the tears come at an unstop rate. But crying can make one feel better, as it relives the burden inside. During sad time, a person tends to remain alone or might assist a friend to share his feelings. When the sad feeling goes away they find that a heavy rock just got lifted from their heart.
