What Are The Symptoms Of Manic Depression?

Manic depression leads to symptoms sets which are opposite in nature to each other. One symptom will be of high set and the other will be of low set. The symptoms of manic depression are divided into two groups: one belonging to the high or manic group and the other belonging to low or depressive group. The symptoms related to manic group are: speaking very fast, lots of ideas occurring in the mind at one time and ideas jumping from one to another, enhancement in sexual drive, irritation throughout the day, long period of unusual behavior, lack of proper and correct judgment, lack of concentration, the person shows excessive energy with long period of activity an feeling of restlessness. The symptoms related to depressive aspects in the person suffering from manic depression are: The person will take too much sleep or will not be able to sleep at all, the person will find difficulty in concentrating and remembering his work, thoughts regarding the suicide attempt and death come frequently, long period of anxiety and sadness, reduction in energy with the person feeling as if he is not worthy, feeling of helplessness, fatigue throughout the day, the person loses interest in his daily activities.
