What Is The Difference Between Anxiety And Depression?

Depression and anxiety are related to each other in several aspects and some people are of the opinion that both are same. If you take a close look at the symptoms shown by anxiety and depression you will find that they are similar to one another to great extent. Person suffering from anxiety or depression shows common symptoms such as irritation, fatigue, loss of interest in regular activities, hopelessness, and worthlessness. Many times anxiety and depression co-exist in the same person simultaneously and it is found that most of the people showing anxiety disorder also show degree of depression. In the same way depressed person also shows some degree of anxiety. Indicating the difference between anxiety and depression is even difficult for doctors. Anxiety is more related to frustration and impatience behavior for long period of time, on the other hand depression is related to the emotional aspect of the person putting the person into deep sorrow and sadness. Disorder shown by anxiety is more related towards physical aspect of the person whereas depression is related to mental and emotional aspect. In other words it can be said that anxiety is related to body and mind of the person whereas depression is related to person’s feeling.
