Like depression, even anxiety treatment is done using antidepressants. SSRI means selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. Such medications help in treating illnesses like depression, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder and eating disorders. SSRIs act as the chemical that is present in the brain.
