Often designated with the letters XR and CR, some SSRIs are available in the market in two different forms. One of this is called the extended release form while the other is called the controlled release form. • Sertraline, known in the market as Zolof

The FDA has recently approved a combination of olanzapine and fluoxetine as an effective method of treatment for bipolar depression. Together they are known as Symbyax. Symbyax is categorized both as an antidepressant medication as well as an unusual antipsychotic.

One should remember that these medications can also help treat other conditions other than depression but what is important to note down is that they all come with several side effects and can be dangerous for people with particular me0dical histories.
